Today’s topic is “Characters I would like to switch places with,” and the simple answer is really, any of them. Sign me up to live in any book, any time. I spend a fair amount of my dreaming hours (awake or otherwise) imagining I’m in them anyways. So I thought instead I would share ten characters who I most see myself in – and would certainly trade places with for a bit.
The Hogwarts Alums

Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling
Scorpius Malfoy from Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany & Jack Thorne
Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling
Because: I’m a Hufflepuff through and through, even when I am accidentally sorted into another house.
The Comic Book Guys

Peter Quill from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Avengers by Brian Michael Bendis
Malcolm Reynolds from Serenity: Those Left Behind by Joss Whedon
Steve Rogers from Captain America: Civil War by Ed Brubaker
Because: I should have been a captain of something, I guess.
The P’s

Peeta Mellark from The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Podrick Payne from A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
Peregrin “Pippin” Took from The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
Because: I’m kind and gentle, but I’ll cut a bitch.
The One Character I Am Most Like…

Winnie the Pooh from Winnie-the-Pooh by A.A. Milne
Because: “Pooh hasn’t much Brain, but he never comes to any harm. He does silly things and they turn out right.”
