I am a Westerner by choice, but a Southerner by birth. It is something that runs deep in my blood. Most of the books that I’m highlighting today have a special place in my heart – they’re intertwined in my person history and have played a role in shaping the kind of reader I am. XOXO
I like books set in the south – there’s a definite feel about them and I just love the culture.
There is just some innate coziness that I feel reading a southern book. And if there is any mention of food, forget about it. I’m in! π
Eeeeee Agnes! <3 I'd love to do a re-read of that someday.
This makes me want to re-read some Anne Rice. Mmmm, yes please.
