This week’s topic is all about popular, hype-y books, which got me thinking of all of those fantastic books that become movies or shows. But I got to thinking, what about all of these books that I love that totally deserve some screen time, and *light bulb* this topic clicked into place. Here are my top ten books that always leave me thinking: there outta be a movie.
The Heist by Janet Evanovich
Bad at Love by Karina Halle
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang
I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella
Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren
One Plus One by Jojo Moyes
The Coincidence of Coconut Cake by Amy E. Reichert
Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
The Hating Game by Sally Thorne
I kept this limited to contemporary titles, so there are many, MANY more books I wish were movies on my sci-fi and fantasy shelves…maybe a part two of this post will be needed in the future. What’s your favorite book you wish was also a movie?

I have Attachments sitting here. Good to know that it lived up to the hype. My TTT hyped list

The One Plus One would be a great movie choice! I like that idea!

I love how you changed this TTT topic!
I generally prefer to read a book rather than watch a movie, although there are a few exceptions (I would not have Pirates of the Caribbean be a book, for example).

I adore Janet Evanovich’s Fox and O’Hare series! Nicholas Fox is annoying and adorable and perfect for Kate!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

I’m almost positive The Hating Game is being turned into a movie, and maybe The Kiss Quotient? I’ll have to double check that, but if they are I’m totally going to see them. Guess I’d better bump The Kiss Quotient up on my TBR

I could 100% see One Plus One as a movie. So loved that one.

The Kiss Quotient would make a good movie. I heard that the movie rights to Legend were sold late last week to another company, so hopefully they’ll make a movie about that.

I really wanted the Uglies series to be made into movies when I was younger, but now I’m worried that if they were, they won’t be made into the films I want them to be :O
Aj @ Read All The Things!
I like your spin on the topic. Iβd love and Attachments movie. It would be adorable.

I loved Maybe In Another Life! That would make an excellent movie. And from what I’ve heard (haven’t read it) The Kiss Quotient would too. And Attachments. π
