I am great with names in the real world. In fact, I’ve never forgotten the name of any dog I have ever met. And I’m pretty good with the humans, too. But character names. Ooph. Just try buddy reading something with me, and you’ll learn quickly most names get reduced to “whatsherface” or “you know that one guy with the thing.” Since I couldn’t possibly come up with a list of badass character names, or ones that I would choose to live under if I were going on the lamb, I’ve picked ten TBR books whose characters I’m not likely to forget. Ahem, because their names are in the titles.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
Because of Miss Bridgerton by Julia Quinn
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
Young Jane Young by Gabrielle Zevin
